Sebastián Mejia

Sebastián Mejía was born in Cali, Colombia. Before becoming an entrepreneur he built his career working in financial Services as well as in the tech sector in New York. He has a Bachelor of science in Business and Management from ESADE business school and a Bachelor of Science in Economy from the University of Madrid. He also participated in the Stanford-Endeavor Innovation and Growth Program from Stanford University and in 2019 was in the List of Bloomberg 50 as part of the most influential leaders in business, entertainment, finance, politics, science and technology, whose achievements during 2019.
In 2013, Sebastián y Simón Borrero founded Grability, a company that offers mobile solutions that benefit retailers who generate extra revenue through selling through a new channel, and the consumer, who gains an innovative experience and solves problems in food shopping on traditional e-commerce platforms. In 2015, they created a spinoff called Rappi, an application that provides a solution for on-demand product delivery. Today Rappi is one of the fastest growing companies across Latin America, the first SupperApp and it is present in 9 countries and over 200 cities in the region and is Colombia’s first unicorn company.

Monica Saggioro worked in technological innovation for Latin America in companies such as Restaurant Brands International, Whirlpool and Goldman Sachs. After her MBA at Harvard , Monica co-founded MAYA Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early stage ventures in Latin America.

Jenny Johnston
Jenny is passionate about creating economic empowerment and strong institutions in emerging markets. As an associate at Flourish, she sources, diligences, and executes investment opportunities globally, with a focus on Latin America. She also supports portfolio companies on operational projects and research.

José García-Pimentel
Jose ‘Pepe’ García-Pimentel is the Director & General Manager for Uber Eats Mexico. Prior to this role, he was Head of Strategy and Planning for Uber Eats Latin America. Before joining Uber in 2018, Pepe was Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development at Pepsico. He was also General Manager for VWR and Senior Associate at Booz&Co.

Juan is an Investment Director at the Softbank Latin America Fund where he is focused on growth equity investments in technology companies in the region.


Robin Li
Robin Li is based in New York and focuses on investments in consumer, new retail, and urban technology for GGV Capital. She serves on the board of directors for Bustle Digital Group, Glow Concept, Flieber, and Odeko. She is formerly a board director for Lively, which was acquired by Wacoal in 2019. David Velez
David Vélez is the Founder and CEO of Nubank, the largest independent digital bank in the world. Before founding Nubank in Brazil in 2013, David was a Partner at Sequoia Capital in charge of the firm’s Latin American investments. Before Sequoia, David worked in investment banking and growth equity at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and General Atlantic. David has a BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.


Guillermo Freire
Guille Freire is an Argentinean-born Brazilian entrepreneur who is the CEO and co-Founder of Trocafone, a peer to peer marketplace for buying and selling used and certified pre-owned smartphones. Guille holds an MBA from MIT and is nominated as Top Latin American Innovator under 35 by the MIT Technology Review.


Vicente Zavarce
Vicente Zavarce is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yummy, Inc., the first, largest and most downloaded last mile logistics delivery app in Venezuela.
